• Start Anywhere: Instead of having to start at the marked Start you can begin at any control you want - the start becomes just another control. This is fairest for line courses as all the legs will remain the same, you just do them in a different order
• PIN protection (can expire at certain time/date) - often used to stop league courses being publically available until after the competition period has finished
• Mass Start at a given time

There are also more advanced options related to how runners interact with the app. For example:

• Show location on screen while running the course
• Silent punching
• Hide controls on screen
