West Anglian Orienteering Club (WAOC) welcomes you to our Cottenham MapRun event. There are 2 courses available.
Details
The two score courses are identical, they just have different time limits to fit in with our league. Cultivated fields are OUT OF BOUNDS and must not be crossed except on paths marked on the map. You may also encounter temporary construction work and fences; these may restrict access to some controls - if so, sorry!
These courses are part of our 2026 summer league from 15th until 28th July. To enter, please email go@oentry.uk for a payment link.
Parking
There is on-street parking on Denmark Road alongside the Chequers. The start/finish is also very close to the bus stop (number 8 from Cambridge)

45 minute score
This is a Score course which means you should get as many controls as you can within 45 minutes.
There are 28 controls in total. You do not need to get them all and you can visit them in any order.
Each control scores 20 points. For each minute or part-minute you are late back, you will lose 10 points. The highest number of points wins. The time you take is used as tie-break.Map not available before event
