Summer Training- Birch Hill 2022

Berkshire Orienteering (BKO) welcomes you to our Summer Training- Birch Hill 2022 MapRun event. There are 6 courses available.

Details

Sprint urban line courses:
Medium course PIN 3924. Long Course 6881
Note that the finish position is such that it’s possible to trigger your finish early on the long course. If you are using a watch (MaprunG), it is possible to reject the finish and carry on. We don’t think this is possible when using maprun on a phone. However, should you want a result, it should be possible to upload a gps trace to get a result at https://console.maprun.net/#/gps_track_upload . If this doesn’t work contact coaching@bko.org.uk and we may be able to help.
Safety
Due to road crossings under 16s should be accompanied or shadowed by an adult on medium and long courses. If running alone let someone else know of your plans and or run with a colleague. Take care of other users of the area, particularly around South Hill Park Arts centre when there are events or performances. Consider carrying a mobile phone even if using a watch for navigation. Take care when crossing any road. Nearest A & E is the Royal Berkshire Hospital, Craven Road, Reading RG1 5AN.
